Maaybhoomi Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are Maaybhoomi Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our place is at Gat No 288 in Jawala Khurd, which is in Kallam Taluka. It is really just Bapu Gajendra Nahane’s spot where we all meet up. We started this because a few of us farmers around here wanted to do things ourselves instead of relying on big companies all the time. Being in a small place like Jawala Khurd means everyone knows each other, so we just work out of the fields and this small office area. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist here. It is mostly just dirt on our boots and some paperwork on the table. We grow things organically because that is how the land used to be treated before everything got so complicated with chemicals. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes the weather doesn't help us at all, but we keep going. We aren't trying to be some huge international business, we just want to sell what we grow right here in the Kallam area. You can usually find one of us hanging around the site near the post office. We spend most of our time checking the crops or talking about the soil. It is a simple way of doing things, and it works for us. We don't have a big marketing team, just a few local guys trying to make a living from the earth.
