Maahi Foods

Maahi Foods is tucked away in Anand Nagar, specifically at Survey No. 8/A on Handewadi Road. It’s a busy part of the area and we’ve been here for a good while now. We deal with food products, so there is always something being moved or organized. The space isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking things high. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. The road outside gets pretty congested, which can make loading a bit of a chore, but we’re used to it. It’s just a small group of us running the show. We don't have fancy titles or corporate meetings; we just figure out what needs to be done and do it. Sometimes we’re packing boxes until late in the evening. People in the neighborhood know us as the local food place. We try to keep a decent variety of stuff in stock. It’s practical, everyday work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent shop and provide what people are looking for. There’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of, which is the boring part, but it’s necessary. Mostly, it’s just about being reliable and being here when the customers need something. It’s a simple life and we quite like the routine of the shop.
