Maa Caterers

Maa Caterers operates out of House No 168 in the Camp area of Pune. We don't have a storefront with big glass windows or a fancy sign on the main road. Most of our work happens right here in our large kitchen where we prepare food for different events and gatherings around the city. Pune Camp is a busy place with a lot of history, and being based in a house means we keep things feeling very personal and local. We spend our days coordinating deliveries and making sure the ingredients we get from the local market are good enough for the pots. It is often a bit messy with big crates of vegetables and large cooking vessels stacked up. Our neighbors know us by the smells of spices wafting out of the windows in the afternoon. We started small, just cooking for friends, and it grew from there without us really planning it. We don't have a corporate office or a sales team to talk to customers. Usually, it is just a phone call and we figure out what needs to be done. We do everything from small family dinners to larger gatherings, but the food always comes from the same stove. It is a simple business run by people who just like to stay busy in the kitchen.
