M H S Mobile Shopee is located right on Camp Main Road at number 1. Being at the start of the main road means we see a lot of people every single day. The shop is a small spot, but it’s right in the middle of all the action in Camp. I spend most of my time behind the counter, looking at small circuits or helping someone pick out a new phone. It’s a lot of repetitive work, like putting on screen protectors without getting bubbles under them, which is harder than it looks. The shelves are lined with boxes of all different brands, and we try to keep things as organized as possible in such a cramped space. The street noise from Camp Main Road is always there in the background, with horns honking and people shouting. It’s a lively place to work. Sometimes I stand by the door just to get some fresh air and watch the crowd move by. We don't do anything fancy here, just sell mobiles and fix the ones that aren't working right. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. People know us as the small shop at the beginning of the road. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people are heading home and realize they need something for their phone. It’s just how we run things here without making it more complicated than it needs to be.
