Lotus Hospital

Lotus Hospital is situated at 163a/1a/11 Laxmi Angan, near the Hadapsar Bhaji Mandai Chowk and the Mahalaxmi Mandir. Since we are close to the market, there is always a lot of movement outside. You can hear the sounds of the town right from the entrance. Inside the hospital, we try to keep things as orderly as possible. The staff is mostly local people who understand the area well. It is a practical building with various floors dedicated to different needs. We have the usual waiting areas where people sit with their families. It is not a silent place; you can hear the staff talking and the occasional beep from a machine. The rooms are basic but they have what is needed for the patients. We have had the same front desk crew for a bit, and they try to get through the paperwork as fast as they can. Sometimes there is a wait, especially during the middle of the week. We just handle the daily flow of people coming in for checkups or more serious matters. It is a community hospital, nothing more and nothing less. People come in, get their health looked at, and head back out to the busy streets of Hadapsar. We just keep the doors open and the lights on for whenever someone needs us. It is a busy life here near the Mandai Chowk, and we are part of it.
