Lokmany Hospital

Lokmany Hospital is over at Jivala Niwas, right near the Kalewadi Phata. We are close to the Raghunandan Hotel and the road that leads to Ashok Society. It’s a busy little corner. You can usually smell the food from the hotel when the wind blows the right way. Our hospital is a local fixture. We aren't part of some giant chain of medical centers. We are just a local hospital in a busy neighborhood. The building is called Jivala Niwas and it has its own character. We have some stairs that are a bit narrow, and the lighting in the hallway is sometimes a little dim. But we have everything we need to take care of patients. Our staff lives nearby, so they know the area well. We don't use big words or corporate speak when we talk to folks. We just tell it like it is. If someone needs a test, we get it done. If they need to stay, we find a bed. It’s simple and direct. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we stay right here on Ashok Soc Road. People know us, and we know them. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do. No fancy promises, just a hospital doing its job every day near the phata. We try to keep the waiting room comfortable, but it fills up fast on Monday mornings and the fans can be a bit loud.
