Lokesh General Stores

Lokesh General Stores is tucked away at Sarang Plaza, just behind the Bird Valley Garden in Chinchwad. If you are ever walking near the park or spending time with your family at the garden, you might have seen our shop. We opened here because the area was growing and people needed a place to get their daily stuff without traveling too far. We keep a bit of everything, from snacks and chocolates for the kids who come from the garden to basic groceries like tea powder and salt. The shop isn't very large, and it can be a bit of a squeeze when we get a delivery of boxes that need to be unpacked. I usually do most of the work myself, so if I’m busy talking to a customer, the others just have to wait a minute. It’s a relaxed place, and I don't follow a very strict schedule. Sometimes I open a bit late if I have some personal work to finish. The plaza itself is quiet most of the time, except for the evenings when people come out for a walk. We don't have any bright neon signs or big advertisements. It’s just a regular store where you can find the things you need for your house. I like the location because it’s close to the greenery, and it feels peaceful most of the time compared to the main city market.
