Loha Ispat Ltd.

Our facility is located at E-19 in the MIDC area of Taloja, over in the Raigad district. It is a large industrial zone, so we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and warehouses. We deal with iron and steel, and our site is mostly taken up by big stacks of raw materials and heavy machinery. It is a very industrial atmosphere here. The air often smells like metal and machinery, and there is always some kind of crane or truck moving around in the yard. We have a decent-sized crew working in shifts to keep things running. It’s not a glamorous job, and nobody here wears a suit unless they have to go to a meeting in the city. We spend most of our time on the shop floor or in the loading area. The office is just a plain building at the edge of the property where we keep the computers and the logs. We don't bother with fancy decor or mission statements. We just aim to get the steel processed and sent out to the customers on time. Sometimes the weather in Raigad makes things difficult, like when it pours during the monsoon, but we have been here long enough to know how to handle it. We are just regular people doing a heavy job. If you are looking for a polished corporate experience, this probably isn't the place, but if you want to see how steel actually gets moved, we are here.
