Up here in Khalapur, specifically in the Khopoli area of the Raigad district, things move at a slightly different pace than they do in Mumbai. Logicon Technology is based right here, and we’ve grown to appreciate the local surroundings. The 410203 zip code is our home base, and it’s where we handle all our day-to-day operations. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place that keeps the rain out and gives us enough room to set up our equipment. Most of us who work here are local folks from the district, so we understand the layout of the land and how things work around here. We do a lot of technical work, but we don't feel the need to dress up in suits or use corporate jargon to prove we know what we are doing. We’d rather just show you through the results of the projects we take on. On days when the weather is clear, you can see the hills in the distance, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens. We keep a simple kitchen in the back where we make tea and talk about the news or the cricket scores. It’s a very grounded way to run a technology business. We aren't chasing some big corporate dream. We just want to provide a good service to our clients and make sure our families are taken care of. It’s worked for us so far.
