Our spot is located over in Haveli, specifically in the JD Shubharambh building behind BJS College. We’re in Unit A-1109, which gives us a bit of a view if you look out the right way. Being near the college means there’s always a bit of energy and noise around the area, which we think adds to the vibe. We set this up because we wanted a place where we could serve good food without all the usual pretense you see in some of the bigger bars in Pune. It’s a bit of a hike to get to us sometimes, but we think it’s worth the effort once you're inside. The kitchen is where we spend most of our time, trying out different things to see what tastes good. We don’t have a massive team, so you’ll often see the owners themselves out on the floor or behind the counter helping out. It’s a hands-on kind of place where everybody does a bit of everything. We don’t bother with fancy uniforms or polished scripts for the staff to memorize. We just want people to feel like they’re hanging out at a friend’s place for the evening. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and sometimes the service is a little slow when we’re packed, but we’re always honest about it. We’re just local folks trying to run a bar that we’d actually want to go to ourselves on a night off. No corporate fluff, just a regular place in a busy part of town.
