Lloyds Steel Industries has a spot in Kothrud, specifically over at Flat No 12 in the Jhanavi Cooperation Housing Society. If you know Pune, you know Paud Road is usually pretty packed with traffic. We are right near Hotel Kinara, which is where most people look for when they are trying to find the building. Ravindra Joshi is the one who keeps things running from here. It is a regular housing society, so it doesn't feel like those big glass office buildings you see in the city center. We like it that way because it is quieter and more manageable. The flat is filled with files and the sound of keyboards. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks or you hear the sounds from the street, but that is just part of being in Kothrud. We spend most of the day coordinating with the plants and making sure the numbers match up. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and making calls. The office is small but it gets the job done for the steel side of things. Most of the people around here are families, so we try to keep things low-key. If you are coming from the main road, the turn by the hotel is the easiest way. We have been here for a bit and it feels like a solid place to work from every day without much fuss.
