Lic Insurance And Health Insurance

Working in the insurance business means I spend a lot of time on the second floor of this building in Hadapsar. My name is on the sign for Lic Insurance And Health Insurance, and people usually find me by word of mouth. I deal with a lot of paperwork every day, mostly filling out forms for LIC policies or explaining how health insurance covers hospital bills. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s important for families. I have a small office with a couple of chairs for clients and a big wooden desk that’s always cluttered with folders. I spend a lot of my time traveling to meet people at their homes or offices because they find it easier than coming to Hadapsar. Sometimes I have to explain the same thing three or four times because insurance language is so confusing for everyone. I try to make it simpler. I’ve lived in this part of Pune for years, so I know how people worry about their savings. I don't have a marketing team or big brochures. I just use my phone and my laptop to keep track of everything. It's a one-man operation for the most part. There’s no fancy coffee machine here, just water and maybe some tea if the boy from downstairs brings it. I just try to help people get their papers in order so they don't have trouble later with their claims and payments.
