Laxmidhar Fabrication

Laxmidhar Fabrication is my small business located over at Taha House on Salunke Vihar. You can find us at Flat No 14, right near the Kotak Mahindra Bank in the Kondhwa area. I have been working in this shop at Sr. No 63 for a while now. It is a fabrication place, so we spend most of our time dealing with metal, welding torches, and grinders. Most of the stuff we do is for people in the neighborhood who need a gate fixed or some custom steel frames for their homes. The shop isn't fancy at all. It is actually quite messy with iron scraps and dust everywhere, but that is just how it is when you are cutting and joining metal all day long. My hands are usually stained with grease and soot by the time I head home. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually just see our sign when they are going to the bank or they hear about us from a neighbor. It gets pretty loud when the machines are running, and the heat from the welding can be a lot in the summer months. I try to get the orders done as they come in, though sometimes I get backed up if a big project shows up. We just use simple tools and do the work the way I learned it years ago. It’s hard labor that keeps us busy.
