Laxmi Mart

You can find Laxmi Mart over at the Laxmi Narayan Bunglow in Shivaji Nagar. We are right near Gulawni Hospital, so there’s usually a lot of people walking by at all hours of the day and night. Shivaji Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and we are right in the middle of it all. The bunglow has been there for a long time, and it’s a bit different than a regular shopfront, but it works for us. We see the doctors and the families from the hospital coming and going every single day. It’s a bit of a landmark for people in this part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we don’t mind much anymore. Inside, it’s just us trying to keep things in some kind of order. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s more about just having things where they belong. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who live around Shivaji Nagar. It’s a community feel, even if things are moving fast outside the door. We spend a lot of time just rearranging things and making sure everything is where it should be. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. It’s just a local spot that’s been part of the scenery for a while. We like the location, and being near Gulawni Hospital means we are never really alone. There is always someone nearby.
