Lalit Steel

Lalit Steel is located at Survey No-No 857/2 in Bhawani Peth, right near the Laxmi Bazar area. We are close to the Rupee Bank, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us in these narrow streets. The area is always crowded with carts and people moving goods. We deal in all kinds of steel items, from rods to flat bars. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with heavy metal. It’s a bit dark inside because of all the stock, but we know where everything is kept. We don't use fancy sales tactics. People come in, tell us what they need, we weigh it, and they pay. It’s a very old-school way of doing things. Bhawani Peth has always been a hub for this kind of trade, and we’ve been part of it for many years. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that deliveries take twice as long, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know. We just keep our heads down and serve the customers who walk through the door. There is no corporate structure here, just a group of people doing their best to keep the shop going. We close the doors late and start again early the next day.
