Lakshmi Krupa Store

Lakshmi Krupa Store is a local spot at 74 Nana Peth in Pune. If you know the area, you know it’s a place where things are always moving. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a good while, and it’s become a bit of a second home for us. The shelves are mostly made of wood and they’ve gotten a bit dark over time, but they hold everything together just fine. We keep the daily essentials, things like soaps, matches, and local snacks that people like to grab on their way to work. The street outside can be very loud with all the horns and people talking, but inside it’s usually just the sound of us packing up bags. We don't have any big signs or bright logos, just the name on the front that’s been there forever. It gets a bit dusty because of the location, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and the counter. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady work and we get to talk to a lot of interesting people from the neighborhood. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains hard, but we stay open regardless. It’s just about being there when someone needs a quick item without having to go to the big supermarket across town.
