Running Kwality Caterers & Canteen Contractor keeps us on our toes from long before the sun even comes up. We are based out of the Swami Samarht Building, B/10 on Link Road in Priyadarshini Nagar, right along the Makarpura Road. Our mornings are a blur of activity. There’s the sound of large pots being moved, the smell of onions frying, and the rush to get everything loaded into the vans. Being a canteen contractor means we have to be on time, or a whole lot of hungry workers are going to be unhappy. The kitchen is the heart of our place, and it’s usually hot and loud. We aren't a fancy restaurant; we’re a practical operation focused on getting decent food out to people who need it. The Swami Samarht building is easy to find, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know our delivery trucks. We don't have much of an office to speak of, just a small desk in the corner where we track the daily menus and the grocery lists. Sometimes a delivery of vegetables is late or a stove needs fixing, and we just handle it as it comes. It’s a lot of hard work and standing on your feet for hours. By the time we finish the lunch rush, we’re usually exhausted but satisfied that everyone got fed. It’s just how the catering life goes.
