Kute Kitchen is our little place over in Kothrud 7. It’s not a big fancy restaurant or anything. We mostly focus on getting simple, home-style food ready for people who don't have time to cook for themselves. The kitchen is always busy, especially around lunch and dinner time. You can usually smell the spices from the street. We started this because we like to cook, and Kothrud 7 seemed like a good spot with all the students and office workers around. It’s a small team here, just a few of us chopping vegetables and stirring pots. The floor is often a bit wet from cleaning, and there’s always a stack of tiffins waiting to be picked up. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. Sometimes we run out of the special dish early if a big group comes in. We try to keep things clean and simple. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment, mostly just the usual stoves and pans you’d find in any house. People stop by to chat while they wait for their parcels. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We’re just regular people trying to provide a good meal. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we’re used to it. That’s what life is like at Kute Kitchen.
