Kunal Communication

If you head over to Pimpri Colony and find the Jay Jayant Estate, that’s where we are. Kunal Communication is a small setup, mostly focused on getting people connected. We have a lot of wires hanging around and several power strips plugged in to keep the test phones and machines running. Most of the day is spent handling recharges or explaining data plans to people who aren’t quite sure what they need. The desk is always covered in papers, pens, and those little plastic cards for SIMs. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always a radio playing or someone talking on their phone while they wait. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out of the way to do it. We have a couple of chairs for customers, though they usually prefer to stand and chat while we work. The estate can get a bit congested with scooters parked outside, so sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get in the door. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people realize they ran out of balance. It’s a simple routine of checking numbers and making sure the internet is working. The light from the computer screen is pretty much what we look at all day. It’s not fancy but it works for us. We just keep things moving.
