Krishna

Krishna is the name on the board, and we are located at 68 Odhav Road in Pimpri. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We’ve been in Pimpri for a long time, watching the area grow and change. The shop sits right on the main road, so we get plenty of dust and noise, but that’s just part of the trade. We sell a variety of things, mostly clothes and some basic household items. It’s not a specialty boutique or anything like that. We just stock what people seem to need. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to stack things high up on the shelves. Sometimes you need a ladder just to reach a specific shirt or a box in the back. It keeps us moving. We don’t have a fancy computer system for sales; we mostly just use a pen and paper for everything. It’s how we’ve always done it. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own children in. It’s nice to see that. We don't do any big advertising. If people like what they buy, they tell their neighbors. The hours are long, from morning till late, but it’s okay. We take a break for lunch when the street gets a bit quieter. It’s a simple life here on Odhav Road, and we just keep doing our thing.
