Krishna Times

Our place is Krishna Times, and we’re set up in the Tiranga Bhavan Building. It’s right across from the Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapathi Temple in Budhwar Peth, so there are always crowds outside. Especially during festivals, the noise and the music are constant. We’ve been at Survey No 257 B for a long time. The shop is cozy, which is a nice way of saying it’s a bit tight when more than two people are inside. We focus on clocks and watches. Since we are right by the temple, we see all kinds of people every day. Some are tourists and some are locals who’ve been coming to this area for decades. We don't do anything fancy with the decor. It’s just glass cases and some old stools. Budhwar Peth is an old part of the city, and our building feels like it’s seen a lot of history. We like the energy of the street, even if it’s a bit much sometimes. We don’t have a corporate office or a big staff. It’s just a few of us. We spend the day hunched over our benches. Sometimes we step outside just to watch the devotees at the temple. It’s a good spot to be in. We don’t bother with big ads. Our sign is right there on Tiranga Bhavan, and that seems to be enough for people to find us.
