Krishna Steel And General Stores is located at 1 Kondhwa Khurd, on DL Vaidya Road. We are inside the Sumeet Plaza Building. It’s a sturdy place because of what we sell. We deal with a lot of steel items and general goods, so the shop is full of heavy stuff that takes some effort to move. It’s not the kind of place where things are displayed perfectly on glass shelves. We have metal racks and stacks of things wherever they can fit. Sometimes it’s hard to move around the floor when we get a big delivery in from the trucks. I spend most of my time checking the inventory and helping people find exactly what they’re looking for. It’s a lot of lifting and moving, so it keeps me busy all through the day. The building is easy to spot on the road if you're looking for us. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors all know our faces. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. I don't have much to say about why we do it, it’s just the family business. We open up the doors, serve the customers who come in, and close up at night. It’s a basic way to live and work. We don't use any fancy marketing or signs. People come because they need something for their house or their daily work. We just try to keep the right things in stock.
