Krishna Sale & Services

Our place is located in Shukrawar Peth, specifically at 2/796 near the Fort area. Krishna Sale & Services has been our livelihood for a good many years. It is an old part of the city with narrow streets and lots of history. We spend our days fixing things and selling what people need for their homes or small businesses. The building is older, and space is a bit tight inside with all the boxes and tools lying around. It gets dusty, but that is just how it goes in this neighborhood. We start early because the market wakes up before the sun is even fully up. Dealing with repairs means our hands are usually dirty. People bring in all kinds of items hoping we can get them working again. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days everyone shows up at once. The address can be a little tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the Fort side of Shukrawar Peth, but most locals know the way. We don't do much advertising. People mostly find out about us by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. We keep the doors open and try to help whoever walks in. It’s a simple setup. Nothing fancy, just us working hard in a small shop. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we stay right here at 2/796. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy and connected to the people living near the Fort.
