Krishna Kanchan Bangal Store

Our shop is situated at 127 in Parvati Gaon, Pune, not far from the Shani Mandir. It is a small place where we specialize in bangles and various small trinkets. The store is filled with rows and rows of bangles in every color you can imagine. It is quite a sight when the light comes in through the door. We have been here for many years and many local women come to us when they need something for a special occasion or just for daily wear. It is a very simple shop with wooden counters and shelves that we built ourselves a long time ago. I usually sit on a small stool and help people find the right size or match for their outfits. It is a quiet business for the most part, though it gets very busy during the festival seasons. The temple bells from nearby provide a nice background sound while we work. We don't have any modern marketing or big signs. People just know where we are because we have been a part of Parvati for so long. My wife helps out with the customers and she has a good eye for what looks best. Sometimes the children from the village stop by to look at the shiny things, even if they aren't buying anything. We also keep small things like bindis and hair pins. It is a modest, traditional shop that serves the local community with honesty.
