We are tucked away in the Kasturba Housing Society, specifically at B6 Flat No 2. This is in the 411015 area of Pune. Working out of a housing society gives the whole office a very different feel than a standard commercial building. It is much more neighborly. We see the families living nearby and the local kids playing in the common areas during our breaks. Our office is just a regular flat that we have turned into a workspace. It has got a bit of a cramped feel because of all the computers, monitors, and desks, but it is cozy in its own way. We do not have professional cleaners coming in every single night, so there might be some dust on the high shelves or a few stray cables under the desks. It is a place where work actually happens. We drink a lot of tea and spend most of our time staring at screens. The light in the flat is actually pretty good in the mornings, which helps. We like being part of a residential community; it keeps us grounded and connected to the real city. There is no corporate pretension here. We do not wear suits or have big boardrooms. We just sit around the tables we have and get on with the info systems work. It is a humble setup, but it works for what we need to do.
