We are based at No. 5 Laxmi Niwas on Karve Road. If you know this part of the city, you definitely know how busy Karve Road can get with all the traffic and people moving about. Elite Softwares Pvt. Ltd. occupies a few rooms in this old building. It has got high ceilings and those old-fashioned windows that let in a bit of a breeze. We have our servers and workstations set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We spend most of our time debugging things and talking about different software updates. It is a lot of sitting and very focused work. Sometimes the noise from the street traffic is quite loud, but we have grown used to it over the years. We are not one of those big tech companies with beanbags and free snacks in the breakroom. We just have a small kettle for tea and some basic wooden desks. It is a practical workspace where we get things done without much fuss. The location is convenient because there are plenty of small cafes and shops nearby when we need to step out for a break. We have been at Laxmi Niwas for a long while now, and the place feels like home to us. It is an older space, but it works. (241 words)
