Kotbagi Hospital

Kotbagi Hospital is over at 163 D P Road in Aundh. This part of Aundh has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here on this street. It’s a hospital, so things are always moving, day and night. We have nurses and doctors coming in for shifts at all hours. It’s not like an office where you just turn off the lights at five. There’s always a light on somewhere. We handle a variety of medical stuff, from people coming in with a fever to more serious things that need a longer stay. The building has its quirks, like any place that’s been used heavily for a long time. We try to keep the hallways clear and the rooms ready for the next person. On D P Road, there’s always noise from the shops and the cars, but inside we try to keep it a bit more orderly. It can get pretty stressful when it's busy, but we just take it one patient at a time. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just check the charts, give the medicine, and monitor the beds. The canteen staff, the cleaners, and the medical team all know each other. It’s like a small village inside these walls. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood and some from further away. It’s just the daily life of a local hospital.
