Vedic Holistic Medicines Reasearch Foudation is located in Bldg. No. 7 of the Zeenat Society. We are right on German Bakery Lane in Koregaon Park. It is one of the nicer parts of Pune to be in. Our foundation spends its time looking into holistic medicines. We are more of a research-focused group, so it’s usually pretty quiet around here. We don't have customers coming in and out all day like a shop. Instead, we have a few researchers who sit and study various texts and data. The office in Zeenat Society feels a bit like a home, which we actually prefer. It makes the long hours of research feel a bit more comfortable. We have a lot of books and folders stacked up on the shelves. Koregaon Park is a great place because of all the trees and the cafes nearby. Sometimes we take our work to the German Bakery if we need a change of scenery. We aren't a big institution with lots of funding. We are just a small foundation doing our own thing. We don't use a lot of complicated words when we talk about our work. We just try to understand how these medicines work and what the research says. It is simple, honest work that we enjoy doing in this peaceful corner of the city. Most of us walk to work because the society is so close to everything we need.
