Kollimalai Cyperus

Kollimalai Cyperus is tucked away on C G Road in Kothrud, specifically at number 12905. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit quite a bit of stock inside the wooden racks we built a few years back. Working with Cyperus products means dealing with a lot of earthy smells and dry materials that can get a bit messy if you aren't careful. We spend a good chunk of our morning just sorting through the new arrivals and making sure everything is stored where it belongs. The lighting inside is a bit dim because of the way the building is constructed, so we usually keep the front door wide open to let in the street light from Kothrud. Customers usually wander in looking for specific items they heard we have, and we spend time digging through boxes to find exactly what they need. It isn't a high-tech place by any means. We still use a basic ledger for most of our notes and the phone rings pretty often with people asking for directions to the shop. The floor has some scuff marks from moving heavy crates around, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound when it is on the highest setting. It is just a regular local business where we show up, handle the inventory, and talk to the people who stop by while the traffic passes on the road outside.
