Kokani Lajjat

You can find Kokani Lajjat over on Bhopatkar Road in Sadashiv Peth. We are at Survey No 1144, which is very close to the Perugate Police Chowki. Being in Pune, specifically in this area, means we see a lot of students and office workers every day. We opened this place to serve honest food without any extra frills. The shop isn't very large, so things can feel a bit tight when it’s raining or during the dinner peak. We do our own shopping for ingredients to make sure we know what's going into the pots. It’s a practical little spot for anyone who wants a meal that tastes like it was made in a regular kitchen. We have a few tables inside where you can sit, or people just take their food to go. It’s been a learning process running a business here, but we’ve managed to stay open and keep things going. We just show up every morning, unlock the doors, and start the cooking. It is a simple life and it keeps us occupied throughout the week.
