Kohinoor Hotel

Kohinoor Hotel is a small eatery we run on Bahu Patil Road in the Pingale Wasti area. The pin code is 41401. We call it a hotel, but it’s really just a place to get a good, simple meal. We have been here for a long time and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We still serve the same kind of food we started with. It’s the stuff we know how to cook best. The kitchen is small and gets very hot, especially during the afternoon rush. We have a few simple tables and benches for people to sit on. It’s not a place for a fancy date or anything like that. Most of our customers are people who work in the nearby shops or on construction sites. They want a plate of food that fills them up without costing too much. We do all the grocery shopping ourselves every morning, picking out the vegetables and spices from the market. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we have to work by candlelight or just close up early. We don't have any big advertisements. People just walk in when they’re hungry. The floor is a bit uneven and the ceiling fan wobbles a little, but it works. We just focus on keeping the pots full and the customers fed. It’s hard work, but it's what we know how to do.
