Walking into Lloyd Chambers can be a bit confusing if you don't know where Block III is, but we are right here near the Coconut Grooves Restaurant. If you smell something good cooking, you’re probably close to our office. We’ve been in Rasta Peth for some time and the area has its own rhythm. Our space is tucked away, filled with desks that are usually covered in notebooks and half-empty coffee mugs. It’s not one of those shiny tech offices you see in magazines. We have some older chairs and the air conditioner sometimes makes a rattling noise that we’ve just gotten used to. Most of the time, we’re just sitting here focused on whatever project is on the screen, occasionally shouting across the room to ask if anyone has a spare charging cable. When it gets too loud or we need a change of pace, we might step out for a bit to walk around the block, but mostly we are right here at our desks. The light in the afternoon hits the windows in a certain way that makes it hard to see the monitors, so we usually have the blinds half-pulled. It’s a practical place for doing practical work. We don't really do the whole formal office structure thing. Everyone just knows what they need to do and gets on with it. It works for us and keeps things simple for everyone involved.
