Kisan Beej Bhandar

Kisan Beej Bhandar is over at No. 278 in Shaniwar Peth. We are quite close to Omkareshwar Chowk, which makes us easy to find if you are walking through the market area. The shop has been here for quite some time, and we mostly deal with seeds and other things farmers need. It is a traditional kind of place, with sacks and containers piled up. We are not a big modern store with glass windows. It is more of a walk-in spot where you can see what is in stock right away. During the planting season, it gets really busy and there is not much room to move around. We talk to a lot of people every day who come in from the surrounding villages. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the seeds, and the air smells like earth and burlap. We do not do any big marketing. People just know we are here near the chowk. We open early because that is when most of our regulars are out and about. It is a simple life running a seed shop in Shaniwar Peth. We know most of the faces that come through the door by now. Sometimes we sit out front when things are slow and just watch the traffic go by. It is just a basic local business trying to provide what the community needs for their fields.
