Kiran Cloth Center

Our place, Kiran Cloth Center, is located right in Alandi Devachi. It’s a busy area with all the people coming through for the temple, but we mostly serve the folks who live here year-round. We sell fabric for suits, sarees, and whatever else people are sewing. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have wooden shelves that have seen better days and a lot of stock piled up. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a new shipment in and haven't found a place for everything yet. We spend most of our time unrolling cloth and showing people how it feels. The bells from the temples are always in the background, which is nice. We aren't a big chain store, just a local spot where you can get what you need. My father started this and now I’m the one here most days. We don't really have a big staff, just us family members taking turns. Sometimes we close for a bit in the afternoon if things are slow. It’s a simple life running a cloth shop. We know which fabrics hold up well and which ones are just for looking nice. People trust us to tell them the truth about the quality. We just try to keep things honest and keep the doors open for whoever needs some fabric for their family’s clothes.
