Kerala Mini Market

We’ve been here at Pimple Saudagar for a while now. The shop is in Arathav Market, right inside Konark Pooram. Most people around here know where we are because we've stayed in the same spot. It’s just a regular mini market. We keep the usual things people need for their kitchens and homes. Sometimes the morning gets really busy when people are coming in for milk or bread before they head to work. The shelves are mostly full, though sometimes we run out of specific stuff when the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic. It isn’t a huge supermarket with wide aisles, but we try to stock what the local families ask for. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the counter. We know most of our neighbors by face and know what they usually buy. The market area can get a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone gets off the bus or out of their cars. We don't have fancy displays or those bright neon signs. It's just a simple shop with basic lighting. If you’re walking through Arathav Market, you’ll see us there. We try to keep things clean and easy to find. It's not a complicated setup at all. We just open up the shutters in the morning and stay until late evening. People often come in for a quick chat while they get their groceries. It feels like a small community here. We just keep doing what we do every day. It's straightforward work for us. No big corporate rules. Just a neighborhood store where you can get what you need.
