You can find us over in Wagholi, specifically at Magarpatta on Plot No Mp 12 1. This area has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings going up, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It is a simple setup with just enough room for our supplies and ourselves. We spend the day folding leaves and talking to whoever stops by. Most people are coming home from work in the IT parks or live in the nearby apartments. We see the same faces every evening. It’s a quiet kind of work, really. We don’t do any big advertising; people just know we are here on the plot. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a small lamp, but we stay open anyway. We keep the counter organized with all the different types of tobacco and lime and sweets. The surroundings are a bit industrial and dusty with the ongoing construction in Wagholi, but we try to keep our little corner clean. We don’t have a fancy menu or anything like that. People just tell us what they want and we make it right there in front of them. It’s a steady routine. We open the shutters in the morning and close them late at night once the streets get quiet. It’s not much, but it’s our business and we’ve been here at this address for a good bit now. We just take it one day at a time.
