You can find us at Shop No 6 in Archies Court, which is right across from the Saraswati Petrol Pump on Shankar Sheth Road. Swargate is always a busy place to be, so there’s a lot of noise and movement right outside our door. Sometimes the smell of petrol wafts over when the wind blows the right way from the pump. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to be pretty smart about where we put everything. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with stuff we might need one day. The floor is a bit uneven and the front door squeaks every time someone walks in, but we haven't bothered fixing it yet. Most of our day is spent at the main counter, which is covered in tools, screws, and bits of paper where we’ve scribbled notes. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once, but we make it work somehow. We usually have a small fan going to keep the air moving because it can get quite warm in the afternoons. We don't have fancy uniforms or a scripted way of talking to people. We just talk to anyone who comes in like we’d talk to our neighbors. It’s a local spot where things are a bit messy but everything has its place. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving.
