Katraj Dairy

Katraj Dairy is a pretty well-known spot on the Pune Satara Road. If you live in this part of the city, you’ve probably passed by our gates many times. It is a big operation with milk tankers coming in and out at all hours. We handle a lot of dairy products, and the air around here usually smells like fresh milk or ghee. It’s a very industrial-feeling place because of all the processing equipment, but we also have the parlors where people can buy stuff directly. The traffic on Satara Road is always heavy, so there is a constant hum of engines outside. We have a lot of people working here, from the technicians to the folks who handle the retail side. It is a lot of coordination to get the milk from the farms to the bottles and then out to the city every single day. We don't have time for anything flashy; we just focus on the daily routine of dairy production. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather is hot and we have to be extra careful with storage. It’s a messy, busy, and honest kind of job. We aren't a small boutique; we are a working dairy that serves the local community. It’s been this way for a long time, and we just keep the machines running and the milk moving.
