Our hospital sits right on the Pune-Satara Road. It’s a pretty busy stretch of pavement, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars going by outside. We’ve been operating as a private limited setup for some time now. The building itself is straightforward, nothing too modern to look at, but it serves its purpose for the people around here. Most of us who work here have gotten used to the pace of the road and the constant movement. Patients come in from all over the local area, sometimes even from further down the highway if they are traveling. It can get a bit hectic on Monday mornings when everyone seems to show up at once. We try to keep the floors swept and the chairs lined up, but with so many people coming through, it stays pretty lived-in. The parking can be a bit of a headache because of the main road being so close, but people manage to find a spot. We aren't a massive corporate chain or anything like that, just a local hospital trying to keep up with the daily needs of the community. Some of the nurses have been here since the doors first opened. We spend a lot of time chatting with regulars who come in for checkups. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood now. Nothing fancy, just the hospital on the road to Satara. We just do our jobs and go home.
