Kalyani Steels Ltd. is located out in Mundhwa, right near Bharat Forge. Being near such a big landmark like Bharat Forge makes it easy for people to find us, even if they aren't from this side of town. The area here is very industrial, which fits what we do with steel. There are always big trucks moving around the roads and the sound of heavy machinery in the background. Our site in Mundhwa is where the actual work happens. It’s a place with high ceilings and plenty of dust, which is pretty normal for a steel yard. We don't have a polished front office with fancy furniture. Most of the time, the guys are out on the floor or in the yard moving material around. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know the local routine and the other businesses nearby. The weather affects us quite a bit, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy, but we keep the operations going regardless. It is a hands-on kind of place. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do; we just handle the steel and make sure the orders are ready for whoever needs them. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but that is just the nature of being in the Mundhwa industrial patch. We keep things simple and focus on the physical tasks at hand every day without much fuss or bother about corporate appearances.
