We have a small office at Flat No. 5 in Chaitanya Apartment, right on Malwadi Road in Hadapsar. It’s a quiet enough spot in Pune-28, away from the main rush of the big IT parks. There are just a few of us here working on computers most of the day. We do software work, but we aren't some giant company with hundreds of employees and a cafeteria. It’s just a few rooms with desks, monitors, and a lot of tangled cables. Sometimes the internet acts up or we spend all day trying to find a mistake in the code. We take our lunches at the local spots nearby and just try to get through the projects we have on our plates. It’s not a fancy "startup" environment with bean bags; it’s just a place where we sit and work. People from the apartment building know us as the guys who are always in front of screens. We handle some local contracts and help out businesses that need a bit of help with their digital stuff. It’s steady work and we like being in Hadapsar. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, just drinking coffee and typing away while the rest of the building goes quiet. It's not glamorous, but it’s what we do for our clients.
