Kalpesh Metals

You’ll find Kalpesh Metals at 1668 in Shukrawar Peth, which is near the DRDO area. We’ve been working out of this location for a long time now. It’s an old part of town, so the streets are narrow and it can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day. Our shop is filled with various metal goods, from brass and copper items to regular household stuff. The building itself is quite old, with thick walls and a heavy door that we lock up at night. It’s a bit dark inside, even during the day, but we have some overhead lights that help us see the stock. We mostly deal with locals and small contractors who need specific metal pieces for their work. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a modern showroom. It’s more of a working shop where things are stacked up in piles and you have to ask where something is kept. We spend most of the day weighing items on the old scale or talking to customers who’ve been coming to us for years. There’s a lot of history in Shukrawar Peth, and we feel like we’re just a small part of that tradition. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing or social media. We just open up the shop in the morning and do our work until it’s time to go home. Sometimes the deliveries arrive on big trucks that can barely fit through the narrow lanes, which is always a bit of a headache for everyone. But that’s just part of being in this area. We’re just a regular metal shop.
