Kalpak Instruments & Controls

We are tucked away in Shed No. 16 at the N.R. Industrial Estate. It is off Sinhagad Road, right at 25/3 in Hingne Khurd. The space is a bit small, just a standard industrial shed, but it is where we do all our instrument and control work. It gets a bit noisy from the traffic on Sinhagad Road sometimes, especially during the evening rush, but inside the shed, it is usually pretty quiet because the work needs a lot of concentration. We spend our time looking at small parts, wiring things up, and making sure the sensors are reading correctly. It is a lot of sitting at benches with soldering irons and various testing equipment. The industrial estate has a lot of different businesses, so we see the same faces every day at the tea stall nearby. We have been in this shed for a while now, and we have got it set up just the way we like, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. There are wires and circuit boards on almost every flat surface. We do not go for any of that high-level management stuff; we are just a small group of people who understand how these controls are supposed to function. It is precise work, and if something isn't working, we stay until we figure out why. It is not about being the biggest shop around, just about making sure the instruments we send out actually do their job when they are installed.
