We’re based out in Navkul Umbre, Telegaon, which is part of the MIDC area. Specifically, we’re at Gat No 41 on Jadhavwadi Road. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city, but this is where the industrial heart is. Being in the MIDC means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops, which suits our tooltech business just fine. The facility is mostly for production and testing. We have various machines that we use to create tools for different industries. It gets pretty hot in the summers, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. The team here is mostly local folks who know their way around a lathe or a milling machine. We started Mongia Tooltech to fill a gap we saw in the local supply chain. It wasn't about anything grand; we just wanted to make good tools. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor checking measurements and making sure everything is lined up. It’s precise work, but we don’t make a big deal out of it. We just do it. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the construction and trucks passing through. We usually have our tea breaks together outside when the weather is decent. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We focus on the metal and the machines and making sure the orders are ready for pickup.
