Kale Hospital

You will find Kale Hospital over at Survey No 11 in the Siddhivinayak Towers. It’s on Bibwewadi Road, which is always packed with people and cars. Being in a tower means we are part of a bigger complex. It’s not a standalone building, so you have to take the lift or the stairs to get up to us. The hospital is a bit of a mix inside. We have the wards and the consultation rooms all packed into the floor space. It feels a bit like an office building from the outside, but once you are inside, the hospital smells take over. We get a lot of local residents from Bibwewadin coming in for various issues. It’s a general hospital, so you never know who will walk in next. Some days it is very quiet, and other days the staff is running from one room to another without a second to sit down. The furniture is okay, nothing special, just functional stuff that can be cleaned easily after every patient. We don't have a giant lobby with fountains or anything fancy like that. It’s just a place where doctors work and patients recover. The windows look out over the busy street below, so there is always something to look at while waiting for your turn. It is a busy, cramped, but working hospital in a very active part of town.
