Kairali Tyres

Kairali Tyres is located at 38 Swargate Bombay Market To Punagam Road, right across from the Saibaba Temple. It is a very easy place to find because of the temple being so close. We get a lot of people stopping in while they are on their way to pray or going to the market. The shop itself is quite simple. We have stacks of tyres everywhere and the floor is usually a bit greasy from the work we do. It is a manual job, mostly involving a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty with rubber and tools. We don't have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. People usually just stand around and chat with us while we work on their vehicles. The road outside is always busy, so there is never a quiet moment. We started this place because we knew people always need help with their tyres, especially with the state of some of the roads around here. We don't use any complicated technology; it is just us and our tools doing what needs to be done. Sometimes we share a tea with the people from the temple or the other shops nearby. It is a very grounded life. We don't have big goals of becoming a chain; we just want to keep the shop running and help the folks who pass by.
