Kailash Super Market

You can find Kailash Super Market over at Viman Nagar Kubera Colony, Nibm Road 21/1. It’s a decent sized place for the neighborhood. We have a lot of different sections for vegetables, dry goods, and some household cleaners. The floor is white tile and we try to keep it mopped, though it gets dirty again pretty fast during the monsoon season. We have a few staff members who help with the heavy lifting and stocking the higher shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive all at once and the back room gets really cramped with boxes. We just have to work through the piles one by one. The air inside stays a bit cooler than the street because we have a couple of big fans going all day. We see a lot of families from the colony coming in for their weekly shopping. We know which kids like which snacks. It’s a friendly atmosphere for the most part. We don't have any fancy loyalty programs or anything like that. We just treat people well and they keep coming back. It’s a lot of work keeping everything stocked and clean, but we’re used to the rhythm of it now. We start early and stay open until fairly late most nights. Sometimes we have to rearrange the whole shop to make room for new items. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by fairly quickly.
