Kailash Deep Communication

Kailash Deep Communication is right in the heart of Sadashiv Peth. It’s a small shop, like most others in this crowded area. We deal with mobile recharges, new connections, and those small accessories that people always seem to lose. The counter is made of old wood and has deep scratches from years of coins and keys sliding across it. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background to pass the time. Most of our customers are locals who live in the nearby wadas. They stop by to pay their bills or ask why their internet isn't working on their phones. I spend a lot of time explaining things to the elderly people who find new technology confusing. It takes a lot of patience. The shelves behind me are packed with boxes of headphones and charging cables. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit in the doorway until it comes back. The street outside is narrow, so there's always a bike or two parked right in front of the step. We don't have a big team, just me and a boy who helps with some deliveries in the evening. We keep a ledger for the regular customers who pay at the end of every month. It's a simple way of doing things that works for us. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out to do it. It feels like home to me after all these years.
