We are situated at 1348 Sadashiv Peth, which is right in the old heart of Pune. If you know the area, we are very close to the Chimnya Ganpati temple. The lanes here are very narrow and always crowded with scooters and people walking. Our building is one of those traditional ones with a heavy door and small rooms. The air inside always has a faint smell of the spices we work with, which is something we’ve just grown used to over the years. We don't have a lot of room to spare, so every corner is filled with something, whether it’s containers or bags of raw materials. During the festival season, it gets incredibly busy around here, and sometimes it’s hard to even get to our front door because of the crowds. We have a small staff, and we all know each other’s families and stories. Most of the work is done by hand, and there’s always a lot of chatter going on while we weigh and pack things. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps on the desks. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on the people who have been coming to this street for decades. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the quality of what we’re putting in those bags every single day.
