I have been working out of this small space in Kondhwa Budruk for quite a while now. It is located at number 21, and if you are familiar with this part of Pune, you know it is a mix of old and new buildings. My setup is very simple because astrology doesn't really require a lot of high-tech gear. I have my books, my charts, and a place for people to sit down and talk. It is a quiet corner where I can focus on the calculations without too much distraction from the street outside. I spend a lot of my day looking at dates and times, trying to make sense of the patterns for the people who come to see me. It is not a big commercial operation with a lot of staff. Usually, it is just me here. The room has a specific smell of old paper and maybe some incense from the morning. People find their way here when they have things on their mind they want to discuss. I try to keep things straightforward and talk to people like a neighbor would. Kondhwa is a growing area, so I see a lot of different faces, but the work remains the same. I don't use a lot of fancy software; I prefer the traditional ways of doing things that I learned a long time ago. It’s just a regular day-to-day job for me, helping folks look at their situations from a different perspective.
